Edmonds Youth Eco-Club Participates in Global Youth Climate Summit
Members of the Edmonds Youth Council Eco-Club will participate in the Global Youth Climate Summit on November 4, 2026, hosted by Klimatorium in Lemvig, Denmark.
The annual Summit brings together young people from around the world to share their perspectives on climate change, nature, and solutions for the future. Because participants live in different time zones, the two-and-a-half-hour event will be held in a hybrid format.
Together, participants will help develop a Youth Climate Manifesto, which will be delivered to a delegate at COP31, taking place November 9–20 in Antalya, Turkey.
The students will consider questions such as:
What does your dream for the future look like?
What makes you proud of your generation?
How would you like to see the world change?
What message would you give today's decision-makers?
What kind of world do you want to leave for future generations?
Through their participation, these local students will add their voices to an international conversation about the future of our planet.
