Come May 30th, the third annual Edmonds Youth Environmental Summit will take place at the Edmonds Waterfront Center. Unfolding from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the event features speakers and workshops for self-selected student leaders from area schools.
The popular gathering is sponsored by a broad swath of Edmonds nonprofits and businesses. The youth summit also benefits from the expertise of adult educators such as Edmonds’s own Gayle Leberg.

appreciative audience saw and heard a rare performance focused on climate change – its causes, its destructive impact, and some ways we may be able to slow or reverse climate change.
