Intercounty Climate Partnership

The Intercounty Climate Partnership (ICP) is an emerging regional collaboration initiated and facilitated by the Edmonds Climate Advisory Board. Begun in 2025, ICP convenes climate advisory members, nonprofit leaders, and municipal staff from Western Washington to exchange best practices, share implementation strategies, and strengthen regional coordination. ICP members now number ten cities in six different counties plus one county government member (see map).

Purpose

  • Share effective approaches to climate action implementation

  • Learn from peer jurisdictions

  • Identify opportunities for alignment and collaboration

  • Strengthen regional relationships across counties
